Out of curiosity, I asked ChatGPT to respond in Korean.
It replied:
“한국어를 배우면 경제 성장, 문화 교류, 두뇌 발달, 미디어 접근, 개인 성장 등 많은 이점이 있습니다.”
Accurate, but really short and a bit robotic.
When I followed up with “Talk To Me In Korean,” it replied:

You know our brand name, Talk To Me In Korean, and our website's name can be a sentence that you can say to other Korean speakers.
So, I wrote this as a sentence. "Please talk to me in Korean." And this is what I got.

Should People Still Learn Languages in the Age of AI?
Finally, I asked the big question:
“With the advancement of AI, should people still learn new languages?”
And the answer was the same as I expected. Although it has certainly advanced to the point where machine translation can be helpful, they do not replace the fun and engaging aspect of actually talking to someone in their language. It can't replace the benefits of being able to speak a language fluently.
