Bringing Korean Language Educators Together - Our 3rd Creator Meetup

Bringing Korean Language Educators Together - Our 3rd Creator Meetup

Last month, we hosted the 3rd Korean Language Edcuation Creator Meetup in Seoul. It was a gathering of passionate people from all over the world who are making online content, producing courses, and teaching in so many creative ways – all with the same goal of helping people learn Korean.

Some of the creators that attended this event started their channels/classes less than a year ago, but other have been at it for more than a decade! Some have thousands of subscribers, and other have more than a million subscribers. But everybody shares the same passion and generosity.

During the event, creators exchanged ideas, shared challenges and experiences, discussed what's been working well for them. They connected over their passion and love for Korean language education (한국어 교육) and their desire to make the learning experience better and better for learners around the world.

We started these meetups last year, and in addition to these bigger-scale meetups, we've also hosted some small-group dinners and coffee chats. We're convinced that when educators help each other, learners benefit, too. The Korean learning community gets stronger, more diverse, and more inspiring when the teachers share and collaborate.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined and openly shared your knowledge and experience. You are making a difference in ways you may not even realize.

Let's keep building this community together!

Also, during the event, I (Hyunwoo) asked some teachers what they think is important when they teach, and also to share some advice for Korean learners. You can watch their answers here.
